It’s already a week into February, so it’s past time to point out some new items appearing on The Depot Tavern’s menu in 2012:
- Baked Potato Soup: diced potato cream soup with pepper bacon, sour cream, parmesan cheese and scallions
- Beef Barley Soup: hearty beef broth with cubes of beef, pearled barley, onions, carrots and celery
- White Chicken Chili: grilled chicken breast, garbanzo beans, roasted garlic, sour cream, pepper jack cheese, cilantro, served with warm corn tortillas
- Red Beef Chili: angus beef, tomato, roasted red pepper, sour cream, cheddar cheese, scallions, served with texas toast
- Italian Beef Sandwich: seasoned, sliced beef roast with grilled onions, green peppers and provolone cheese on a hoagie roll
- Philly Cheesesteak Burger: 1/3 lb. angus beef chuck burger topped with sautéed mushrooms, green peppers, onions and melted mozzarella cheese on a kaiser bun
- Red Beans and Rice Veggie Burger: 1/3 lb. patty of red beans, white rice, green pepper, onion and parsley with lettuce, tomato and vegan mayo on a kaiser bun
