This January marks eight years since 89.3 The Current first went on-air, and they’re celebrating with two nights of great local music at the First Avenue Mainroom:

• Friday, January 18
  with The 4onthefloor, Twin Cities Soul and Funk All-Stars, Chastity Brown, and John Mark Nelson
  ($18.00 / 7pm doors / 18+)

• Saturday, January 19
  with Cloud Cult, Dave Pirner, Now Now, and The Chalice
  ($18.00 / 7pm doors / 18+)

A limited number of tickets will be available in The Depot Tavern at noon on Friday, January 4 for both MPR Members and the general public. Limit 2 tickets per person/per night, but there will be no service charge for tickets purchased in person at The Depot.

Online Ticket Information:

• MPR Member Online Presale: Tickets for MPR Members only will go on sale online Friday, January 4 at noon (service fees will apply, limit 2 tickets per valid Member ID/per night).

• General Public Online Ticket Sale: Any remaining tickets will go on sale online to the general public on Saturday, January 5 at noon for $18.00 (service fees will apply, limit 2 tickets per person/per night).
