Once again it’s time for your favorite Twin Cities 4th of July tradition, The Depot Tavern’s Diamond Dog™ Eating Contest!

Just as we’ve done each of the past four years, we’re looking for six brave souls (and stomachs) to see how many Diamond Dogs™ they can eat in 10 minutes. They’ll fight their way through the 1/3 lb. all beef hot dog – wrapped with pepper bacon, and deep-fried, served on a pretzel bun – and on to glory and fabulous prizes.

Are you up for the challenge? Submit your name, age, and a 2-3 sentence bio to contest@first-avenue.com. We will be accepting submissions from now until Wednesday, June 18 at noon. Contestants will be notified by Thursday, June 19 at noon.
